Very disappointing experience. Our booking window was 12–3 PM, but the movers only arrived at around 5:30 PM, which already caused major disruption to our moving schedule. During the move, several things were damaged: Our IKEA sofa bed (worth $649) was ruined. The mover assembled it incorrectly (wrong side) and the screws got stuck, making it impossible to fix. The sofa bed is designed to work as both a sofa and a bed, but after the incorrect assembly it became unusable. The mover even asked me to go buy tools to try to remove the stuck screws, but I refused. In the end, the sofa bed could not be fixed and we had to throw it away. Our queen bed frame was also damaged (which I can somewhat understand as part of moving wear). They dented the wall in the bedroom of our new place while moving a cabinet. They also dented the wall at the old place while moving furniture out. They qoute us $150 including gst, on the spot when we finished the price $150 is for cash only, and they said the dont charge call out fee because we are in the same suburb. For all of these issues — the ruined sofa bed, damaged furniture, and dents to the walls — the compensation offered was only $75. Late arrival, poor handling of furniture, damage to both properties, and extremely inadequate compensation. I would strongly recommend others to think carefully before using this removalist service.

I had a great experience with Z Movers, Laz and sorry didnt get your colleague's name but the communication from start to finish was very good. Moving from a second story apartment to a ground one nearby may not be the most challenging moves, especially when its only 3 streets away but nevertheless the move was done with care taken to our items. Very courteous and friendly. Pricing was fair and reasonable where I was quoted at other places for a similar move would've been double. I highly recommend Z Movers for those organising the dreaded moving house.

Could have not made it without these guys! They have been super professional and speedy at the same time! Everything reached new home without any trouble, highly recommended and I would use them again if I have to. My dog was guarding the track while they were loading everything, so they had the thumb up from Toto too.
